David Pearce - President/Owner

David began his real estate career in 1981. Following a very successful start in his sales career, he decided he would get his brokers license which he completed in 1983. In 1987, he felt it was time to open his own brokerage and RE/MAX Rouge River Realty Ltd., Brokerage was formed. Due to the success of the office itself, other local agents were attracted to the company and the office grew dramatically. In 2001, Dave opened a branch office in Whitby, which quickly grew to capacity. In 2008, Dave found himself growing once again, opening a successful & quickly expanding branch in Ajax. Dave has just celebrated opening the most recent branch office in Pickering, in August of 2010.

Over the past 25 years, Dave has volunteered on numerous committees including: arbitration, by-laws, ethics, finance, MLS® and professional standards. From 1998-2006 Dave was a director at TREB. He was TREB President from January 2001 - June 2002, during which time he implemented measures to streamline TREB operations, including reducing TREB staff by approximately 20% and disposing of surplus real estate holdings not required for core activities. He also led the request to replace the failing MLS® System with Stratus™, which is recognized as the best MLS® System in the world. The above resulted in annual TREB fee reductions for 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 and are the basis for TREB's current financial stability. He also modified by-laws and policies to become more "member friendly" with the criteria "Members First". Dave has received the Special Award of Merit for Contributions to the Real Estate Industry, presented by RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Canada Inc. as well as 2005 Broker-Owner of the year for Multi-Offices, presented by RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Canada Inc.

Dave believes that his strengths are identifying inefficiencies and taking immediate action to positively impact REALTORS®.

  Jennifer Pearce - Broker/General Manager/Pickering Manager

Jennifer has been a licensed REALTOR® since 2000 and completed her broker licensing course in early 2004. No stranger to the real estate industry, Jennifer has worked in all facets of the family business since it's inception 23 years ago as front desk support staff; deal secretary; office administrator; and currently as Broker/Manager and Alternate Broker of Record.

In keeping with RE/MAX Rouge River Realty Ltd's reputation as a forefront source for current real estate trends and practices, Jennifer has served on the Toronto Real Estate Board's Professional Standards Appeals Committee and Arbitration Committee. Jennifer was appointed Vice-Chair of TREB Arbitration Committee for the 2008-2010 panel. Jennifer is a certified Buffini & Company Mentor and RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Canada Succeed training Facilitator.

Jennifer lives in Brooklin, Ontario with her 7 year old son.

 Melody Pearce - Broker/Manager - Whitby Branch

Melody has been a licensed Sales Representative since 1994 and began working at RE/MAX Rouge River right out of high school. In 1996, Melody got her brokers license and for several years was the Province of Ontario's youngest Broker on record. Since 1998 Melody has been the Broker/General Manager of the family-run multi-branch RE/MAX real estate office in the Eastern GTA.

In 2005, Melody graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies. Melody is an avid fundraiser for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, Pickering Panthers Minor Hockey Association and Holy Reedemer Catholic School in Pickering.

Melody is the proud wife of Jeff Hickey and the mother of two, Jordan and Claudia.


 Fabian Passmore - Broker/Manager - Ajax Branch

Fabian has been a registered real estate agent since 1986. He has received many sales awards throughout his career including the RE/MAX 100% Club. In 2000, Fabian successfully completed his Brokers license and began his managing career. Fabian joined RE/MAX Rouge River Realty Ltd., in 2005 and is currently managing the Ajax Branch location. Fabian is a certified RE/MAX Succeed Training Facilitator.

Fabian helped set up and run the Breakfast Program at Tom Longboat Public School. This program feeds a hearty breakfast to many school children in need. Some other causes Fabian contributes to include The Children's Miracle Network and The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

On the personal side, Fabian has been happily married for over 23 years to his wife Sharon and is the proud father of his two boys, Michael and Brian, and his daugher Meghan.
